EXT. THE WRONG PLACE TO BE - DAY
Helen, still leading the chase, nearly runs her bike into the back end of a cobbled together rat bike with a fuel cell engine, parked just on the edge of the road.
THE SCOUT (a nasty yet elegant looking creature with an unhealthy streak of Narcissism) is lounging on the back of the rat bike, catching glimpses of himself in his rearview mirror. He is picturing himself as a centerfold in a dirty magazine.
Helen veers her bike out of the way at the last minute and loses control. She ditches off her motorcycle and rolls across the road as the bike crashes.
Nearby, there is another parked rat bike. This one is tricked out with a digital jukebox and sound system. THE MUSCLE (a holdover from the Viking ages) is dancing his heart out to funky electronic rhythms pumping from the speakers.
Alongside The Muscle, JIMMY and JOHNNY (two goons who couldn’t pass an IQ test between the two of them) are crouched by their own rat bikes. They are betting on a rudimentary version of “jacks” - the child’s game. They are lost in excitement until Helen’s bike comes crashing by.
The last to notice Helen’s abrupt arrival is THE MASKED RIDER (a beast of a woman wearing a dried melon cut into a mask). Her concentration gets broken. She was busy carving a face into a fresh melon.
